Google Keyword Planning For Your Amazon Affiliate Website
Google keyword planning for your Amazon affiliate website is one of the first and most important steps in building Amazon affiliate website. Using the Google keyword planner tool to do keyword research for SEO properly will make or break your Amazon affiliate marketing.
We have the plan built out of what we want to accomplish. (If you haven’t seen that click here) We now need to think about how we are going to rank on the search engines. We need to think about both of the major search engines that we are using for this experiment; Google and YouTube.
This may be a bit boring and not as glamorous as other pieces of this process, but it is the single most important part of the process.
Google Keyword Planner
To do the keyword research for the URL, I am using the Google Keyword Planner. In order to use Google Keyword Planner you must set up a Google Adwords account. You do NOT have to make an ad or enter credit card information.
For YouTube research, I used Tube Buddy (click for more information) and Keywords Everywhere (click for more information). These two tools together are extremely powerful and will give you all the information you need to rank on YouTube.
When researching YouTube for a new channel, you want to have the search volume by less than 1000 and the number of videos in the search under 100,000. This will mean that the competition is low on those keywords and allow you to rank organically. As your channel grows in subscribers, views and watched hours, you can steadily increase these numbers.
